The ruler has been designed to use the Small Fonts raster font called "smalle.fon". If this font is not present or not properly registered with the operating system, then the numbers will not appear. This font is a required system font by the Windowsr operating system. Many times the font is not properly registered with the operating system. If either of these situations are true, then the numbers will not appear on the WordPerfectr 10 ruler.
To verify: 1. Make sure the folder options in Windowsr set to View all files including system files. 2. Confirm that the file called smalle.fon is in the fonts folder: Windows 95/98/ME fonts folder is :\Windows\Fonts Windows NT/2000 fonts folder is :\Winnt\Fonts 3. Once verified, need to confirm in the registry that the font is registered with the operating system. Windows 95/98/ME - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersionFonts and there should be an entry for the small fonts that looks like "Small Fonts (VGA res)"="smalle.FON". Windows NT/2000 - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts and there should be an entry for the small fonts that looks like "Small Fonts (VGA res)"="smalle.FON". If the font is not present then the customer will have to get help from Microsoftr or the computer vendor. If the font is present, but no entry for the font is in the registry, the key can be manually added to the registry. After adding the key, the workstation must be rebooted in order to initialize the font with the operating system.r
Under no circumstances can Corel send the font to the client. Corel does not own the font or the rights to redistribute it.p
