

Method 1
Uninstall from Control Panel
Go to StartControl PanelAdd Remove\Programs (for Windows XP) or Programs and Features (for Vista\Windows 7\8)
1. Select Corel VideoStudio Pro X6 from the list.
2. Select Uninstall \ Change button or the Remove button to start the uninstallation process.
3. Restart your computer.
Method 2
Program Files and Registry Key deletion
Step1: Program Files and Folder Clean-Up
Go to Windows Directory; delete the following folders\directories:
- C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Pro X6 or
- C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X6\
Aside from the folders above, VideoStudio also creates a User folder. These folders may be hidden and could be shown by following these steps.
On Windows XP:
- C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME USERNAME]\application data\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro\16.0
- C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Corel\VSPro\Version16
On Windows Vista\7\8:
- C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro\16.0
- C:\ProgramData\Corel\VSPro\Version16
Step 2: Registry Entry Removal
This section involves modifying the Windows Registry. It is recommended that you back up your registry before proceeding with this step.

1. Go to Start ► Run (Search Field on Windows Vista\7\8) and then type: regedit
2. Click on the OK button to launch Regedit window.
3. Go to "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Corel\VSPro"delete the folder "16.0"
4. Go to "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro"delete the folder "16.0"
5. Go to "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro"delete the folder"16.0"
6. Go to "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Corel\VSPro\"delete the folder "Version16"
7. Go to "Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products"locate and delete the following keys:
- 05E6900DE99D87149A885E91B2F6B619
- 541AD7DA811396D4EB983DDE5101DB51
- 642A88668E6FDA848960D885239E1FD5
- 6671B0EEA35115241A298FDFD3497111
- DCE7D88D371F79A4699FB2505CCD09CD

- F9AEE6C68993D0E49BF134BC12C817C5
8. Go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products; locate and delete the identity enclosed in curly brackets that corresponds to Ulead VideoStudio Pro X5 (16.0.0.106):

9. Go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall; locate and delete the identity enclosed in curly brackets that corresponds to Ulead VideoStudio Pro X6 (16.0.0.106):

10. Close the Regedit.
Step 4: System Clean-Up
1. Clean up temporary files and Recycle Bin by launching the Disk Cleanup from Start menu ► 'Programs ► 'Accessories ►'System Tools ► 'Disk Cleanup
2. Restart your computer.
Step 5: Reinstall VideoStudio Pro X6
To reinstall VideoStudio X6 again on the computer, simply follow the steps for installation either from the DVD or downloadable version.
