Symptoms
You attempt to launch CorelDRAW and before the program is able to initialize, an error comes up.
Error: "CorelDRW.exe - Entry point not found"
You might see something similar to the image below.

Cause
This error may occur due to one or more of the following:
- Corrupted or mismatched Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables.
- Damaged system files/DLLs in Windows affecting runtime dependencies.
- Residual CorelDRAW files interfering with the clean startup.
Resolution
To fix this problem, follow the procedure below.
- Uninstall CorelDRAW completely
- Remove CorelDRAW and delete its leftover files. Refer to this knowledge base article for detailed steps.
💡Note: For newer versions of CorelDRAW, the program directory will follow this path format: "C:\Program Files\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite\25". (Replace "25" with the correct version number for your installation.)

- Remove Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables
- Press Windows Key + R to bring up the Run dialog box, type appwiz.cpl, and press Enter. (This opens Programs and Features directly.)
- Locate the entries shown below
- Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x64)
- Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86)
- Right-click one and select Uninstall. If it prompts you for it, you can skip restarting the system until you have done the same for the other.
- Restart your system
- Once the uninstall is completed, restart your PC.
- Repair Windows system files
- Follow the procedure described in this knowledge base article, which guides you in using the DISM and SFC tools to fix corrupted system files.

- If corrupted system files were found and repaired, restart you computer.
- Download and Install the latest supported versions of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables
- Go to the official Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable download page (Microsoft Docs)
- Download and install both x64 (64-bit) and x86 (32-bit) editions.
- Restart your system.
- Reinstall CorelDRAW
- Download and install the latest version from your Corel account, or you can go straight here.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete your installation.
- Note that you will be asked to sign in to your CorelDRAW account, so make sure you have your login credentials available.
After completing the above steps, restart your computer and try launching CorelDRAW again. The application should now start without the "Entry Point Not Found" error.
