Using Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Is CorelDRAW trying to replace artists with AI?
Absolutely not. CorelDRAW’s AI Generate feature is designed to empower your creativity, not replace it. We're committed to supporting artists' workflows and keeping human art at the heart of everything we do. In fact, CorelDRAW showcases the designs our users create as part of our brand to highlight their talent, give them exposure, and celebrate the artist community.

I cannot access the Generative AI features in my CorelDRAW product. What is the issue?
To use the Generative AI features, you must accept the GenAI policy and confirm that you are 18 or older. If you do not accept the policy, the features will not work.
If you have accepted the policy and are still encountering problems, there may be a temporary outage. If the problem persists, please report the problem to our support team for further help.

Can I use the images I generate with CorelDRAW AI tools commercially?
Yes. Images generated with CorelDRAW AI tools may be used commercially. However, AI-generated content may not be unique and could potentially infringe third-party rights, including copyright, trademark or rights of publicity. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the content complies with applicable laws and is cleared for commercial use.
For more information, please refer to CorelDRAW Gen AI policy.

Do I need to disclose that I used AI when I share or sell my work?
Disclosure requirements vary depending on jurisdiction, platform rules and context. It is your responsibility to determine whether disclosure of AI-generated content is required. For example, in the EU, it is required to disclose when content is generated entirely or significantly by AI. This helps recipients distinguish between AI-generated and human-created content. Outside these jurisdictions, disclosure is generally optional, though considered best practice. Some platforms or marketplaces may have their own disclosure requirements.

Will CorelDRAW’s AI protect me from generating trademarked content or likenesses of real people, so I don’t get into trouble as an artist?
No. CorelDRAW’s AI tools use third-party models that may generate trademarked content or real people’s likeness if prompted. As such, it is your responsibility for ensuring that AI-generated content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights or personal rights, and for complying with all applicable laws.
For more information, please refer to CorelDRAW Gen AI policy.

Privacy and Personal Data

Is my data/ content I upload or generate used to train AI models?
No, your data and images are not used to train AI models. The AI tools use third-party AI models to create outputs. These models are not trained on any data you provide.

Are you tracking information about how I use AI?
Use of AI Features may be logged (e.g., timestamps, input metadata) for debugging, safety, and compliance and tracked for analytics and trends. However, Corel does not have visibility into how specific users are using the features.

Will Corel be bringing other models to the CorelDRAW products?
Corel is constantly evaluating available/upcoming AI models for integration in CorelDRAW products to deliver the best results for our customers’ use cases. Updates will be shared as new models become available.

AI Credits

What are AI credits?
AI credits determine how many times you can use Generative AI tools. There are three categories of credits – free trial, recurring, and non-recurring – each with specific rules for allocation and expiration. Trial credits do not recur after a free trial ends. Recurring credits are allocated monthly and reset at the start of each month. Non-recurring credits never expire; they are tied to products you buy once and own for perpetual use.

What features and products use AI credits?
AI credits are used in CorelDRAW Graphics Suite, CorelDRAW Technical Suite, and CorelDRAW Go.
Each time you generate an image with the Generative AI tools in Corel products, the model you choose consumes a specific number of credits.

The features that use AI credits include:

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite and CorelDRAW Technical Suite

AI Generate docker/inspector (Generate Image, Remix Image)

CorelDRAW Go

AI Generate

How many AI credits do I get with my license?

How do I manage my credits?
You can view your total credits amount by going to the AI Credits section in My Account. All products and licenses that contribute to your total AI credit balance will be listed on this page.

Can I purchase additional credits?
Yes! You can purchase additional credit packs by visiting www.coreldraw.com/creditpacks/.

If you need extra credits for a single instance, you can purchase a One-time add-on pack. Credits in these packs are non-recurring; credits do not expire, and you can use them at any time.

If you need extra credits on a recurring basis, you can purchase a 365-day or 30-day AI credits subscription. Credits in these packs are recurring; credits reset at the start of each month and will not carry over. Purchased credit packs will appear in the Add-ons tab in the AI Credits section in My Account. In this list, you can manage recurring credit pack subscriptions (cancel, edit billing, reactivate) and view non-recurring (one-time-purchase) credit packs.

How do I redeem the credit packs I purchased in store or online?
Credit packs purchased directly from the Corel website will be automatically applied to the account associated with the email used to purchase the pack.

Credit packs purchased from an authorized reseller can be redeemed online by entering the associated redeem code at www.coreldraw.com/getcoreldraw. The redeem code can be found in your order confirmation or receipt.

What email address should I use while purchasing AI credits?
AI Credits are linked to your Corel account.

Please use the same email address you use to sign in to CorelDRAW Graphics Suite, CorelDRAW Go, or CorelDRAW Technical Suite when completing your purchase.

Credits purchased with a different email address will not be available in your software. If you've mistakenly used the wrong email address during purchase, please contact Corel Support.

Which versions of the product will AI credits work with?
AI credits will work with the latest version of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite (2026+), CorelDRAW Technical Suite (2026+) and CorelDRAW Go.

Volume Licenses

How do credits apply to volume (multi-seat) licenses?
For volume licenses (both subscription and perpetual licenses with maintenance), recurring credits are allotted to users based on seat count. Each member will be given access to an allotment of credits for each seat assigned to them. To manage credits distributed to members, go to the Team Products section in My Account.

As with all recurring credits, these credits will reset on the first day of the month; they do not carry over to the next month.

How do credits apply to Corel Academic Site Licenses (CASL)?
Corel Academic Site Licenses do not include an AI credit entitlement at this time.

As an admin, can I purchase additional credits for my team?
No. At this time, credit packs can only be purchased for individual use. If you purchase an add-on credit pack, the credits will only apply to your total credit balance.

If you are an Admin, your personal credit balance from non-volume products is not shared with team members. Only the credits associated with the volume license products will be available to the team members of that product.

If a member of your team requires additional credits, they will need to purchase a credit pack using their own account.  As an alternative, an admin may purchase a credit pack from an authorized reseller and provide the redeem code to the team member for use.

Our company does not allow the use of AI. How can I disable AI features?
Installation files provided with Business and Education licenses with support for software deployment include a setup option during the administrative installation to disable generative AI features in the installed applications. More information about software deployment of the CorelDRAW 2026 products can be found in the Deployment Guide.
