PaintShop Pro Error - System has not been modified. The storage control block address is invalid.

Note: Please follow these instructions step by step. The instructions cover all versions of PaintShop Pro from X3 and up.
 

Before you remove and install a program, patch or update, you have to log in as administrator. The only way to get full administrator access on Vista/Windows 7 is by turning off the User Account Control and right-click on a program, patch or update and go to "Run as Administrator". Otherwise, you will have problems working properly on your system.

  1. Disable the User Account Control and restart Windows
  2. After Windows has restarted, disable your security program's anti-virus and firewall
  3. Install PaintShop Pro
