When working in a multilingual document in WordPerfect, it is not always obvious if a Spellas-yougo red underline is due to a misspelling or due to the correct language not being set for that passage of text. WordPerfect can be set to show the current writing tools language in the application bar as follows.
1. Ensure that the Application Bar is displayed across the bottom of WordPerfect:
- Click View, Toolbars
- Ensure that "Application Bar" is checked.
- Click OK
2. Enable the Language indicator on the Application Bar
- Right click on the Application Bar across the bottom of WordPerfect
- Click "Settings..." on the context menu.
- In the Application Bar Settings dialog, scroll down to find Language
- Put a checkmark next to Lanugae
- Click OK
