While XP mode on Windows 7 is for the sole purpose of running older applications which are incompatible with Windows 7. Roxio Creator Starter was developed for Windows 7 and you do not need to run in XP mode. Using Roxio Creator starter in Windows 7 allows users to utilize all of its features.
