1. What is Montage and how do I use it?

Montage is a new tool introduced in Studio version 12. Montage provides a powerful and easy to learn method of achieving slideshow, animation and multi-track editing effects. With Montage themes you can quickly give your videos a more professional look while maintaining a coherent structure. Please see the following FAQ on this specific topic:

2. Does Pinnacle offer or sell any additional Montage Themes?

We do plan to have additional Montage Themes available for purchase. To see if there are any available, click the Montage pull-down window and select "More Montage Themes". This will take you to the page to purchase any additional themes if any are available.

3. Is it possible to create or edit Montage Templates?

While it is possible to customize the templates in the sense that you can add your own video, still images, text, etc to the templates; it is not possible to create your own or edit the basic structure of the templates.

4. Is it possible to use transitions or audio/video effects with Montage Themes?

Yes, Transitions can be used at the beginning and end of theme clips in the same way as with other clip types

Video and audio effects can also be added to theme clips as usual, and apply to all the content the clip embodies. However, a few effects, such as Speed, are not available for use with theme clips.
