This issue may occurs due to limited CPU or Memory resources during recording. Possible resolutions are:
If you are using a laptop to capture, make sure the power adapter of the laptop is plugged in.
Make sure your laptop/PC for capture is meeting minimum system requirements. Many times, the issue is not enough RAM or a slower processor. Customers have found adding additonal RAM resolves the issue. Also, additional running applications or file transfers or other processing intesive activity can slow the computer down to create this issue.
If your laptop is Dell/Alienware, make sure you check Dell.com and find the latest BIOS for the specific mode for an update.
If your PC/laptop for capture is AMD processor based, make sure you turn off the "Cool N' Quiet" setting in the BIOS.
