If you have custom tubes or frames in older versions of Paint Shop Pro that you would like to transfer between versions, copy the .PspTube files into the picture tubes folder and the .PspFrames into the frames folder of Paint Shop Pro X4® .
The location of the installation varies from version to version. The key thing to remember about PSP is that you can always modify the file location of the tubes, frames and brushes and others via the Preferences >File Location (file menu).
For Paint Shop Pro X2, the frames and picture tubes can be located in:
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2\Corel_09
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2\Corel_10
For Paint Shop Photo Pro X3, the frames and picture tubes can be located in:
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel PaintShop Photo Pro\X3\PSPClassic\Corel_09
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel PaintShop Photo Pro\X3\PSPClassic\Corel_10
For Paint Shop Pro X4, they are located in:
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro X4\Corel_09
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro X4\Corel_10
If you have a "My PSP" files folder from previous versions of Paint Shop Pro, the tubes and frames can also be placed in that folder. The "My PSP" files folder can be found in the Documents and Settings folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\*your username*\My Documents\My PSP Files
Keywords: PSP, tube, tubes, frame, frames, psptube, pspframe, transfer, move, copy, paste, migrate
