WordPerfect Office X3, X4, X5 or X6's Print Button is grayed out.

In order to fix this issue, please follow the steps below carefully:

  1. Go to your Start menu
  2. In the Run box (XP) or Search bar (Windows Vista, 7), type Regedit
  3. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Corel\PrintEngine\13, 14, 15 or 16 (WordPerfect Office X3 = 13, X4 = 14, X5 = 15, X6 = 16)


Back up the registry key you are about to modify:

  1. Select 13, 14, 15 or 16 then click on File, Export
  2. Filename: ncase.reg, click Save


(The key will get regenerated at factory defaults when the Print function is called up from WordPerfect).

  1. Now, right click the 13, 14, 15 or 16 select Delete
  2. Exit Regedit
  3. Launch your WordPerfect, type some text, then click File, Print
