Why can't I see my labels in WordPerfect®?

After creating a set of labels in WordPerfect, the background surrounding the label cannot be seen. This is usually caused by the view mode in WordPerfect being set to ‘Draft’ or the Windows 3D Objects color being set to a color matching your labels.

To modify your view mode in WordPerfect so its set to ‘Page’ and not ‘Draft’ go up to the ‘View’ menu and click on ‘Page’. If this does not fix the problem it may be necessary to change the 3D Objects color.

To do this follow the instructions below:

For Win98, ME & 2000 Users:

1 ) Close WordPerfect.

2 ) Right click on your desktop and click on ‘Properties’.

3 ) Click on the ‘Appearance’ tab & select ‘3D Objects’ under the ‘Item:’ listing.

4 ) Set the color to light grey or some other color which does not match your labels.

For Windows XP Users:

1 ) Close WordPerfect.

2 ) Right click on your desktop and click on ‘Properties’.

3 ) Click on the ‘Appearance’ tab then click on ‘Advanced’.

4 ) Select ‘3D Objects’ under the ‘Item:’ listing.

5 ) Set the color to light grey or some other color which does not match your labels.
