In WordPerfect, you have an option to show or hide symbols for spaces, hard returns, tabs and so on.
To enable the option, click View -> Show or you can use the shortcut key Ctrl+Shift+F3
Once you have the Show option enable, you will notice that your text will be surrounded by some symbols like a dot for spaces, arrows for tabs and this symbol for hard returns
To disable this option, click click View -> Show or you can use the shortcut key Ctrl+Shift+F3 again to turn it off. You will notice that when you enable the function, a check mark is placed to it's left, and when you disable it, the check mark disappears.
