Issue

This issue is caused by the following plug-ins that are installed in certain Internet browsers. These browser addons are called “Browser manager”, "Babylon" or "BrowserProtect". These programs, in most cases are considered to be adware which will cause issues with other programs in a system.

 

How To Remove These Browser Add-ons

For Windows Vista / 7 / 8

  1. Click Start
  2. Click Control Panel
  3. Click Programs and Features
  4. Look for “Browser manager”, "Babylon" or "BrowserProtect" in the list then click on it and click uninstall.


For Windows XP:

  1. Click Start
  2. Click Control Panel
  3. Click Add/Remove Programs.
  4. Look for “Browser manager”, "Babylon" or "BrowserProtect" in the list then click on it and click uninstall

After uninstalling“Browser manager”, "Babylon" or "BrowserProtect", relaunch VideoStudio.

 

To uninstall from the Internet Browser.

Uninstall Browser Manager/Browser Protect from Firefox Add-ons:

a. Click on the Firefox button on the uppermost left hand corner of the browser.
b. Next, click on Add-Ons. In the Add-ons Manager window, under Extensions Tab. Remove Browser manager or Browser Protect.
c. Click again on the Firefox button on the uppermost left hand corner of the browser.
d. Next click on Options.
e. In the Options window, the Home Page must be set to default.
f. Restart your browser.


Uninstall Browser Manager / Browser Protect from Internet Explorer:

a. In Internet Explorer click on Tools.
b. Click Manage add-ons
c. Click on Toolbars and Extensions
d. Look for Browser manager or Browser Protect then double-click on it.
e. Click on Remove.
f. Restart your browser.


Uninstall Browser Manager / Browser Protect from Google Chrome:

a. Click the Chrome menu Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
b. Click Tools.
c. Select Extensions. That is Browser Manager or Browser Protect
d. Click the trash can icon Remove an extension from Chrome by the extension you'd like to completely remove.
e. A confirmation dialog appears, click Remove. f. Restart your browser.
