Resetting VideoStudio Pro/ultimate X9.


Resetting VideoStudio Pro/Ultimate X9 to default settings requires renaming or removing a specific folder under the User Profile.  This process resets the program library, so re-importing your videos, images or music files may be necessary afterwards.

To Import the VideoStudio Library


Before performing this procedure, please ensure that Corel® VideoStudio Pro/Ultimate X9 is not running.

 

 

On Windows 8 and 10:

  1. On the keyboard, launch the Run box by pressing the Windows button then the letter R (Windows + R) 
  2. In the Open box, type %APPDATA% and press the enter key.
  3. In the new window, find the Ulead Systems folder.
  4. Open the Ulead Systems folder.
  5. Open the Corel VideoStudio Pro folder.
  6. There should be a folder named 19.0 here. 
  7. Rename 19.0 to 19.0_old.


On Windows Vista / 7 :

  1. Click on Start.
  2. Click in the search box at the bottom of the Start menu.
  3. Type in: %APPDATA% and press the enter key.
  4. In the new window, find the Ulead Systems folder.
  5. Open the Ulead Systems folder.
  6. Open the Corel VideoStudio Pro folder.
  7. There should be a folder named 19.0 here. 
  8. Rename 19.0 to 19.0_old.
  9. Launch VideoStudio Pro/Ultimate X9.

 

 

Once the folder has been renamed, VideoStudio Pro X9 will now reset to its factory default settings when the program is launched.
