Cannot drag AfterShot / AfterShot Pro to another screen (or another position on the same screen)

Symptoms:

The AfterShot / AfterShot Pro window cannot be moved, resized, or repositioned. It remains the same size. Dragging the corners or title bar does not move or resize the window.

Cause:

AfterShot / AfterShot Pro is maximized. This is a special window state in OSX, Windows and Linux where the window is set to its largest size on the screen. This state prevents dragging the window to a new position and resizing the window.

In some cases, the maximized AfterShot / AfterShot Pro window may not completely fill the screen. There may be a narrow bar left unused across the top or bottom of the screen, about the size of the menu bar, toolbar or start bar on another screen of the computer system if multiple screens are in use.

Resolution:

Restore AfterShot / AfterShot Pro to a non-maximized state:

Windows:

Option 1: In the top right corner of the AfterShot / AfterShot Pro window, click the restore button (a double box symbol)

Option 2: Double-click on the AfterShot / AfterShot Pro title bar.

OSX / Mac:

Option 1: in the top left corner of the AfterShot / AfterShot Pro window's title bar, click the right most of the three dots.

Option 2: Double-click on the AfterShot / AfterShot Pro title bar

Linux:

Linux can have several window managers, as such these directions may not apply to the specific window manager in use, but should function as a general guide:

Option 1: Double-click on the AfterShot / AfterShot Pro title bar. On most window managers this works.

Option 2: Right-click on the AfterShot / AfterShot Pro title bar and choose either "Restore" or "Un-maximize"
