Quattro Pro: Currency Symbol ($, £, etc) is incorrect

Symptoms:

Spreadsheets in Quattro Pro which have currency formatting show the wrong currency symbol

Cause:

International Currency settings in Quattro Pro need to be adjusted.

Resolution:

1. Open Quattro Pro
2. Click Tools, Settings
3. Click International at the left, then Currency in the under "Selection"
4. Under Currency, if "Operating System Default" is selected:
   1. Choose "Quattro Pro"
   2. Select the correct country from the drop-down list that appears.
   3. Click OK
5. Under Currency if "Quattro Pro" is selected:
   1. Either change the country to the correct country OR
   2. Change the setting to Operating System Default
   3. Click OK
6. Close and re-open QuattroPro, then retry the problem file(s)
