Symptoms

If you are trying to use your DSLR or mirrorless camera with the Stop Motion program of VideoStudio and it is not being recognized; and it is neither a Nikon or a Canon brand, that is because the program is not compatible with other camera brands at this time. For instance, if your camera is a different brand, such as Panasonic or Fujifilm, and you click on the DSLR settings button you will get the error stating, "The device is either disconnected or not supported. Please reconnect and try again."

Cause

The compatibility issue is due to the fact that only Canon and Nikon SDKs have been integrated in the Stop Motion program. SDKs for other camera brands have not been integrated into the program yet at this time.

Resolution

We regret to inform you that you will not be able to use your non-Canon/Nikon camera with the Stop Motion program at this time.
