Switching from a Full Color or Bitmap Pattern Fill to a 2-Color Pattern Fill and back again, causes the fill to be blank and Fill property indicator shows a large X

When this occurs, the file may not save correctly. To workaround the issue, pick a different pattern fill or uniform fill, save the file, close it and reopen it. You can then choose the desired fill and successfully save the file.
