When I try to download a trial from the Corel web site, I get an 'Installation is corrupt!' message

This issue occurs in Internet Explorer because of a corrupted version of the Corel Download Manager.

To resolve the issue, please follow these steps:

  1. Close Internet Explorer
  2. Go to your \Windows\Downloaded Program Files folder
  3. Right click on “get_atlcom Class” and select “Remove”
  4. Now the Download Manager Active X control will have been removed
  5. Next time you download a trial from Corel.com, you will need to re-install the Active X control and you should not receive the corrupt error.

Note: If the application cannot remove as it states that it is in use, it is recommended that you restart the computer and then attempt the process - this should terminate any hidden instances of the process that prevent the system from removing it.
