This issue occurs in Internet Explorer because of a corrupted version of the Corel Download Manager.
To resolve the issue, please follow these steps:
- Close Internet Explorer
- Go to your \Windows\Downloaded Program Files folder
- Right click on “get_atlcom Class” and select “Remove”
- Now the Download Manager Active X control will have been removed
- Next time you download a trial from Corel.com, you will need to re-install the Active X control and you should not receive the corrupt error.
Note: If the application cannot remove as it states that it is in use, it is recommended that you restart the computer and then attempt the process - this should terminate any hidden instances of the process that prevent the system from removing it.
